A hub for industrial imaging expertise

The new Olympus NDT Canada building, located in the Michelet Innovation Space, reflects technological excellence and a commitment to responsible development. With a total area of 15,700 m² spread over three floors, it houses the company’s headquarters, research center, and a specialized production facility for non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment.

A high-performance production facility

The ground floor, dedicated to manufacturing, covers 7,500 m² and features 5.5-meter-high ceilings. It accommodates heavy mechanical and electronic equipment used to produce industrial imaging devices. These instruments enable non-destructive testing on materials such as steel, composites, and plastics, contributing to safety and reliability across various industries.

Innovation, collaboration, and well-being

The second floor, with 5,500 m² of space, is devoted to research and development, offering an environment that fosters innovation and collaboration. The top floor includes IT services, offices, a cafeteria, a fitness room, and a training space—supporting employee well-being and continuous learning.

A responsible architectural approach

Although LEED certification is not targeted, the project aligns with the values of the Michelet Innovation Space, a technology park focused on sustainable development. Special attention was given to the building’s ecological impact, both in its design and operation, aiming to reduce its environmental footprint while maximizing performance.
