Bringing teams closer, strengthening practices

In response to a lack of suitable spaces near care units, the project enabled the creation of approximately sixty workstations aligned with the Institute’s clinical approach. This first phase is part of a broader vision for transformation and upgrading, aimed at supporting staff within a safe, functional and evolving environment.

Reactivating existing spaces with sensitivity

Two underused areas of the aerial corridor were reactivated and transformed into bright, welcoming workspaces. The project emphasizes natural light, transparency and quality interactions, while respecting the architectural identity of the original building. This approach revitalizes underutilized spaces without compromising their character.

Balancing openness and safety

The layout combines glazed offices with acoustically controlled open-plan work areas, offering both transparency and comfort. Technical systems—lighting, ventilation and heating—were completely redesigned, while specialized hardware ensures a high level of safety suited to a psychiatric setting. Preserving original elements, such as cedar mullions, anchors the project in a respectful and sustainable continuity.
