At Résidence Y, the interior design is conceived as an extension of the natural site. Each space is oriented to capture light, frame views, and encourage intuitive movement between indoors and outdoors. The Y-shaped layout allows for a fluid organization of functions, creating distinct living zones bathed in natural light.

The generous use of wood—on walls, ceilings, and custom-built furniture—infuses the home with a welcoming warmth. This noble, durable material interacts with the mineral tones of concrete and the metallic reflections of the roof, forming a palette that is both understated and elegant. Natural textures are enhanced by soft light filtered through expansive windows.

The main living areas open dramatically onto the lake, offering spectacular views while maintaining privacy from the street. The kitchen, living room, and dining area form a convivial core where residents can gather, enjoy the landscape, or welcome their community. Circulation paths are discreetly integrated into the volume, supporting a fluid and intuitive experience.

Every interior design choice follows a logic of sustainability: local materials, resilient finishes, and custom-built furniture. Maintenance is minimal thanks to a careful selection of surfaces and attention to technical detailing. The project embraces an eco-conscious approach without compromising comfort or aesthetics.

Résidence Y is not just visually appealing—it is lived in, felt, and experienced. It offers its occupants a living environment that reflects their values: simplicity, elegance, and respect for nature. Each room becomes a viewpoint, each material a trace of the territory, each moment a dialogue between inside and outside.

The “Y”-shaped layout expresses a clear intent: to celebrate the site with respect and humility. This architectural gesture invites a sensorial experience of place, where light, framed views of the landscape, and the interplay between interior and exterior circulation shape everyday life.

The concept emerges from the meeting of two forces: the desire to inhabit a robust, welcoming home, and the site’s constraints, which call for a delicate insertion among the trees. The result is a tripartite volumetry—both functional and landscape-driven—creating generous, light-filled, and warm spaces.

Each wing of the building frames a portion of the site, offering occupants a range of viewpoints and a conscious relationship with their surroundings. Living spaces extend toward the lake, capturing spectacular views and natural light, while maintaining a discreet presence from the street.
