Vanderlande, a global leader in logistics automation, is strengthening its presence in Québec with a workspace that reflects its expertise and vision. This project embodies the ambition of a forward-thinking company, rooted in innovation and shaped by a rich Dutch heritage.

The architectural intervention revolved around a bold chromatic challenge: integrating Vanderlande’s signature colors — orange, purple, and blue — into a harmonious and functional composition. These tones define work zones, support focus, and infuse the environment with dynamic energy.

A fully black nap room, in stark contrast, offers a peaceful retreat amid the daily bustle.

The design draws inspiration from the canals of Veghel, Vanderlande’s hometown, translated here into fluid lines and open spaces. This spatial approach encourages natural circulation, spontaneous collaboration, and enhanced operational efficiency. Curves, echoing both the company’s logo and its machinery, are featured in the furniture and architectural details, adding a refined and technological touch.

The integration of the basebuilding, with its exposed bracing, brings a deliberate industrial aesthetic. This robust framework houses layouts designed for personnel well-being: relaxation zones, ergonomic workstations, and abundant natural light. Every detail contributes to a stimulating, inclusive, and sustainable work environment.
