A smarter workplace at Promutuel
A reimagined workplace where light, ergonomics, and sustainability transform the everyday experience.
Promutuel has launched a bold transformation of its 7,400 sq. ft. offices spread over two floors. The main goal: open up the space by removing partitions to democratize natural light and create a healthier, more inspiring work environment.
From the moment you enter, the reception sets the tone. Designed in collaboration with a specialized ergonomist, it meets both functional and aesthetic needs for the administrative assistant. This attention to detail is reflected in the sit-stand workstations provided to all team members, promoting comfort and workplace wellness.
Acoustics, often overlooked, were central to the design process. In close collaboration with Yockell, a balanced sound environment was created to support focus and collective well-being. Each zone was carefully designed to suit its specific use while maintaining spatial coherence.
Innovation takes center stage in the boardroom, equipped with a PriWatt™ smart switchable film provided by Smart Glass Technologies. This technology, controllable by switch, ensures privacy and flexibility while adding a distinctly modern touch.
The project also integrates sustainable design elements: careful selection of materials, optimized lighting, natural plants, and a commitment to local art. Three original artworks by Québec-based artist Rose Cantin punctuate the space, reinforcing Promutuel’s cultural roots.
This renovation reflects a clear intention: to offer the work community a space that is functional, refined, and responsible. A modernized environment that blends innovation, well-being, and a strong commitment to local and environmental values.
