Delivering a complete renovation of a luxury hotel
The complete renovation of Sofitel Montréal Le Carré Doré marks a significant milestone for luxury hospitality in North America.
The project embodies the meeting of French elegance and Montréal’s culture through its 256 rooms, including 17 suites, over 10,000 m² of event spaces, a bar, and the Renoir restaurant.
The hotel entrance stands out with its rounded architectural details, creating a welcoming and refined atmosphere from the very first steps.
A reception and check-in area inspired by residential design codes, transforming a functional moment into a warm and memorable experience.
The dining room is distinguished by a tinted mirrored ceiling that enhances the perception of height and lends a contemporary elegance to the space, despite its compact dimensions.
The space evokes the atmosphere of dining in the heart of a greenhouse, with large, subtly tinted glazed surfaces that fill the room with natural light.
The Nini cocktail lounge is organized around a striking central bar, featuring a natural stone counter that expresses a refined character. A marble mosaic floor enhances the space’s timeless elegance, while a “liquid metal” feature wall subtly defines the bar area without compromising its generous proportions.
