A New Experience in the Heart of Saint-Roch
Located in the heart of Québec City's Saint-Roch neighbourhood, Bistro NouVo offers a contemporary atmosphere inspired by European bistros. Part of the Best Western Hotel, this interior design project by STGM transforms a compact space into a warm and inviting destination connected to the vibrant life of the neighbourhood.

A Welcoming and Distinctive Design
The restaurant's interior design revolves around a central bar featuring a marble-look quartz countertop and an open kitchen that encourages a sense of connection. Graphic mosaic tiles, generous banquette seating, and softly curved chairs create a refined and welcoming atmosphere, where textures and mineral tones bring warmth and character to the space.
Lighting That Enhances the Space
To address the challenge of low ceilings, STGM Design incorporated smoked mirrors that reflect light and create a greater sense of depth. Lighting fixtures by Canadian company Molo, along with wall sconces, complete the design, providing soft, warm illumination throughout the restaurant.
A Bistro Connected to Its Neighbourhood
Opening directly onto the street, Bistro NouVo creates a natural connection between the hotel environment and the lively Saint-Roch neighbourhood. This commercial interior design project in Québec City reflects a thoughtful approach to materials, comfort, and the overall guest experience.
