The use of a lightweight wood structure, combined with prefabrication strategies, optimizes maritime transport and enables rapid on-site assembly in this remote context.

With an area of approximately 460 m², the building brings together technical and residential functions within a single volume. The ground floor includes a maintenance area that also serves as storage for the hovercraft, as well as a service zone with storage space, a shop area, an office, and a restroom. This layout supports efficient day-to-day operations.

An apartment for staff is located above the service area. It includes two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and dining area, a bathroom, and a laundry room. This residential component provides a comfortable living environment, essential in such a remote setting.

The extensive use of wood allows for prefabrication of envelope components, ensuring quick enclosure of the building despite harsh climatic conditions. Only high-impact areas, such as around garage doors, are constructed in masonry, enhancing durability and resilience.
