STGM appoints five new partners

January 5, 2026

STGM reaches a significant milestone in its evolution today with the appointment of five new partners to its leadership team.

This announcement comes as part of the gradual retirement of Jean-Yves Montminy, co-founder and a defining figure of the firm. He will continue to contribute to STGM as a strategic advisor, supporting a thoughtful and collaborative transition.

Ensuring continuity, strengthening the next generation

By introducing a new cohort of partners, STGM reaffirms its commitment to sustainable growth and to a long-term practice. The organization is investing in a strong next generation, driven by experienced professionals who are actively engaged in their communities and fully aligned with the values that guide our approach: innovation, responsibility, collective intelligence, and rigour.

A member of the team for 15 years, Alexandre Frenière is recognized for his exceptional technical expertise, which is essential to the quality of project delivery. Known for his keen attention to detail and strong commitment to mentoring, he actively contributes to the development of the production team, helping to elevate a reliable and structuring expertise.

In Baie-Comeau, Vanessa Raymond plays a strategic role as head of the Côte-Nord office. A true ambassador for STGM in the region, she combines business development, inclusive leadership, and a nuanced understanding of local issues. Through her mobilizing and collaborative approach, she helps firmly anchor the firm’s presence in a rapidly evolving market.

As director of finance, Simon Tourigny-Poirier represents a cornerstone of the firm’s essential corporate functions. His role is critical in supporting growth, managing complex processes, and confidently overseeing financial operations. His cross-disciplinary vision and steady leadership contribute to STGM’s organizational resilience and ongoing evolution.

Together, these new partners embody the collective strength that defines STGM. Their contributions—rooted in expertise, collaboration, and a commitment to responsible practices—reinforce the foundations of an organization focused on creating architecture that is sustainable, human-centred, and bold.
